We stayed, with two friends at Bardney Hall Hotel last night. We had the Bardney Suite & our friends in the Red Bedroom. We were all delighted with our rooms & the warm welcome we received from Colin. He offered drinks on our arrival & gave us a tour of this most beautiful building. Colin kindly recommended The Wheatsheaf where we enjoyed an excellent meal followed by a great gig in the superb intimate venue of Ropery Hall. Back to Bardney & our warm & wonderfully comfortable bedroom. Everything is of the highest standard

This made a really excellent overnight stop close to the Ropery venue where we went to a Snake Davis and John Ellis concert. Colin even offered us a lift to it! Bardney Hall is a pleasant red brick house of the minor stately home kind - it is tastefully decorated and has large well kept lawns in attractive gardens - which are looked after, but not unnaturally manicured in a National Trust fashion. It is near the middle of the little historic town of Barton-upon-Humber, but is surprisinlgy peaceful, because of its being on a quiet road and having ample grounds.

Just arrived for a second stay just as lovely as before feel at home as soon as we arrived Colin a very good host +free glass of wine on arrival to be thoroughly enjoyed in the blue Room overlooking the lovely grounds

Stayed here a total of 3 times at this point all for work purposes. Beautiful building in an equally so setting, wonderful hosts ever so accommodating and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.
