No background checks hire anyone . Aids stole anything not nailed down . Treated my parent like dirt . Had no nursing staff come to house . Didn’t respond to any problems and was nasty when called and said aid did not feed or bathe my family member .Sent several aids some barely spoke word of English 2 didn’t know how to cook and refused to . One sat in room on phone and computer all day . One had boyfriend come over at night . Switched to a better agency dramatically better . Horrible place managed poorly. Raj was nasty and downright mean . No compassion it is all about money . Hired anyone . Horrrible experience for my family . Anything you read possitive has to be written by someone working there . I know many others who went through hell with this place . They don’t do criminal checks . Aid was a felon we had to have arrested for forging checks and stealing captured on our camara . No heart agency . No one who came to us was a American citizen either . Not that that in itself matters I just found that odd

I have had the good fortune not only to work at Better Home Health Care but have used their services for family whilst still employed.I continue to recommend their services.Pat Huber is the consummate caregiver and heads her family business with with a deep and compassionate understanding of Home Care.She is ably assisted by a wonderful staff.Mr. Raj Kale the Director of operations is as professional as they come and runs a tight ship, he directs his coordinators and takes a personal Interest in making sure the right caregiver is matched with specific client needs.Highly recommended.

The owner of the company is an experienced RN who is very active in the agency . The nurses at this agency are a very kind and detail oriented team who's compassion and professionalism are admirable. Raj is the Director of Operations that oversees the coordinators. His poor attitude and abrasive dispostion doesn't do this otherwise good agency justice. The coordinators are nice for the most part but the turn over is very high and coordinators come and go frequently . Their hours are convenient and the on call /after hours team is always available. With the exception of Raj (0 stars) , this agency (4 stars) is very professional. We are happy with the services for my grandpa and hope that they'll find stability with coordinators.

best agency in ny. my mom is 88 with several medical issues. she's is unable to do anything without assistance. the nursing staff is excellent, they are always in contact with me to check on her status and physically examine her when necessary. their aides are incredible. life happens, sometimes a new aide has to be assigned. I've never had an issue with new aide. offices respond 24/7 and resolve issues quickly. if you care for a parent, you understand how important these issues are. can't say enough good things about them.

Better Home Health Care Agency is a first class organization. I needed a live in for my mother in law after surgery for a broken humerus. I decided to go into the agency in person to talk about what her needs would be. The compassion, warmth and feelings of complete security was so greatly appreciated. Everyone in the agency stopped in to say hello (Pat Huber, Wendy, Karen, Raj) each and everyone put us so at ease. I had the wonderful experience of working with each of them in some capacity and it was the most positive experience ever. They took control of the entire situation and sent the most perfect match over for my mother in law. She was with her for several days, they became besties and promised to keep in touch. I would recommend this agency to anyone looking for a referral to take care of a loved one. They made the transition from the hospital so easy and did all the leg work for us. We are forever grateful. Thank you again for the kindness and professionalism you showed to our family.

The staff was very responsive and supportive when I called them in a time of great distress. They clearly outlined options and answered my many questions. For three months, Betsy, a wonderful aide, came to my home to care for my family member who suffered a stroke. She was extremely competent, thoughtful and caring. I give her and Better Home my highest recommendation.

It was important that I find a home health care agency that could work with our somewhat unique situation. My mother is 95 and in somewhat decent health except for the expected slowing down so we only need help for 5 hours a day. So with that in mind Better Home Health Care made it easy and paired my mom up with two aides that matched perfectly. Although one was eventually replaced everything worked out great. They worked with us every step the case coordinator is excellent and is on top of all issues sometimes before I’m even aware of them. The only issue I do have is higher levels of management give me the feeling of being a bit in communicative with their staff. I say this because I know that the staff who I have had the chance to speak with has always been responsive and makes a sincere effort to solve issues. So in conclusion I would say that this organization given the difficulty of their tasks has to be among the best in this area.
