Carolina Beach Realty provides excellent service to its guests. The mobile app they provide their guests for check-in, check-out, questions and/or issues during your stay, etc. Is outstanding. I would use and recommend Carolina Beach Realty everytime.

Do not stay with these folks. Many issues during our rental were left unresolved. They did not honor the promise of a refund of half our rental cost.Electronic door lock broken upon arrival and had to wait 30 minutes to get into unit. Kitchen sink faucet loose. 2nd floor toilet loose.Oven light out. Refrigerator leaking water.No instructions for any appliances or the TVs.Kitchen haphazardly stocked- only 1 hot pad, no coffee measure, nasty dirty cookie sheet, no spatula, etc. Only 1 dish towel and dish wash cloth.No basic cable. Electric Outlet in front upstairs bedroom is coming out of the wall. Safety hazard, esp with kids. Upstairs rear bedroom shower head clogged and hand held is coming out of wall.Dishwasher is full of lime scale.Back door handle coming loose from door.Gas grill is filthy and left side will not light.ELEVATOR NOT WORKING.

Deeply disappointed. We booked a long weekend stay at a property managed by Carolina Beach Realty. Around lunch time on the day we were supposed to check in, I received a call from CBR that the a/c unit had gone out in our rental and that they had decided to replace it over the weekend so we would not be able to stay there. I asked what they planned to do and stated that we were already on our way. Kristen said we could either get a full refund or she could speak with her manager about finding us another property to stay at. She stated that the only other one available was a much larger house but she would discuss with manager and call back. After several hours of being in limbo, she called back and said they would issue a full refund but that’s all they could offer. Upon request she gave me the number of 2 other realty companies that may be able to help. I understand when something needs repairs. My issue is that we were notified on the day we were supposed to check in, and only offered our money back. Carolina Beach Realty should have either worked out something with another realty company on the back end, and on our behalf, or we should have been compensated for their failure to provide us a place we had contracted and already paid for in full, just like we would have been charged if we had not showed up. We were left to find a place at the last minute while traveling. This ultimately cost us additional time and money. Kristen didn’t seem to be the problem. Her manager; however, is evidently not customer focused at all. Renters beware…

They made it rightI rented a beach condo from Carolina Beach Reality for Memorial Day weekend of 2018. There were some significant issues (related to being the first rental of the season – don’t need to go into what they were). Carolina Beach Realty made it right… which to me, is the true measure of a rental company. I would (and will) rent from them again.
