I met Ted three years prior to buying a home through him - his friendly demeanor and local knowledge at this one-time meeting stuck with me until I was ready to pursue property ownership. As a first-time buyer I had lots of questions and he answered them all, respecting my novice experience and investing in helping me pick a good home. Every house we visited, he knew about the neighborhood, it's history, the school district, what the current market was, what the market was last year, the style of construction, the costs of this repair and that renovation, and easily spoke with my wife and I about his honest thoughts. He gave us a great mix of professional service and casual interactions - meaning conversation with him was easy, communication via email/text/phone was quick, and he showed that he knew the rules of the real estate game. And he definitely didn't shy from steering us away from lemons - he wasn't in a hurry for us to buy something, which was nice. Ted felt like a mentor rather than a hired man and once we found the one we wanted, he went above-and-beyond our expectations in retrieving information about the previous owners, working with the sellers' agent, scheduling inspections and showings, and generally putting our minds at ease during a stressful process. Highly recommended.
