I met Ted three years prior to buying a home through him - his friendly demeanor and local knowledge at this one-time meeting stuck with me until I was ready to pursue property ownership. As a first-time buyer I had lots of questions and he answered them all, respecting my novice experience and investing in helping me pick a good home. Every house we visited, he knew about the neighborhood, it's history, the school district, what the current market was, what the market was last year, the style of construction, the costs of this repair and that renovation, and easily spoke with my wife and I about his honest thoughts. He gave us a great mix of professional service and casual interactions - meaning conversation with him was easy, communication via email/text/phone was quick, and he showed that he knew the rules of the real estate game. And he definitely didn't shy from steering us away from lemons - he wasn't in a hurry for us to buy something, which was nice. Ted felt like a mentor rather than a hired man and once we found the one we wanted, he went above-and-beyond our expectations in retrieving information about the previous owners, working with the sellers' agent, scheduling inspections and showings, and generally putting our minds at ease during a stressful process. Highly recommended.

My husband and I bought a home from Ted in 2011. We actually found the home walking through our neighborhood. We weren't looking to purchase a home at that time so it was a surprise to all of us! We had known Ted for about 3 years and felt secure in his skills and honesty and so called him on a Sunday afternoon to write up an offer on a house he'd never seen! Ted did due diligence for us, checking out the neighborhood, looking at available comps, offered to show us other properties in that price range. But strangely enough we had found our home or rather IT had found us! Ted respected our decision not to look at other properties and set to work to secure this home for us. And he did! He negotiated with the Relocation Company that held title, which I'm sure took Ted more time, but he paid attention to all of the little details and brought them to our attention for discussion. The whole process went smoothly and with a 3 week escrow we were the owners of our dream home! Thanks Ted, for listening to us and for advising and assisting us through our rather untraditional acquisition of our home. I recommend Ted highly when you are in the market for a new home. I'd love to say will use him for our next purchase but I don't think we'll be moving from this house - it is our "forever" home. Thanks Ted!

We recently sold our home using Ted as our realtor. He was fantastic. The pictures, brochures, and website he provided were very high quality. He went above and beyond expectations for helping us with staging, etc. He really worked hard to get us the best offer on our home. We would highly recommend Ted as a realtor.

Ted Lupberger is a superb real estate broker. He helped us find the right selling price for our house and gave us great advice during a time when the housing market in Lafayette was very challenging. His knowledge of east Boulder County is outstanding. We're very glad we worked with Ted.

If you want a partner (not a mere realtor) who really will go the extra mile you've come to the right place. Ted encouraged us to list for far more than we had hoped we could get and ultimately we set a new standard for price in the neighborhood (much to the delight of our neighbors.) The photos he took of our property are magazine worthy and the staging was immaculate (moved to LA so we needed the help!). Most realtors can't even come close to comparing to this level of service. Ted has even helped give little tips to look out for on other purchases, so that we make sure that we're doing all the due diligence we can. If I could clone this man, I would. Realtors looking to be amazing have a great model in Ted and some very stiff competition. Don't use anyone else in Boulder County unless you absolutely have to.

With his knowledge of east county market trends, Ted guided us toward a decision to list our too-big house at what turned out to be just the right time.Always just an e-mail, text, or phone-call away, Ted kept us on course throughout the selling process. We listed in mid-March and closed in early June—a short time in the real-estate world, but a near eternity to anxious sellers. Meanwhile, Ted also helped us find the perfect smaller home in Old Town Lafayette, providing insight and support every step of the way.Ted is trustworthy, knowledgeable, hands on, and a terrific advocate and friend. Ted Lupberger was an awesome agent. He spent a lot of time with me to find the right condo, helped me figure out what I really wanted, and stayed within my price range. He was patient and knowledgeable and guided me through each step of my first-time home purchase!He also gave me the attention someone purchasing a much more expensive house might expect and treated me like a valued client even though I was looking at a smaller purchase.I will definitely use him for any future real estate deals!
