Hi-Desert Water Company is so Bad. I tried and tried to get the water turned on my rental home and they refused even though I was the owner of record for many years and had it on in my name numerous times. I had to fill out a new application and email it back. I emailed the application to them numerous times they never got it. I did get a bill from Hi-Desert Water for $23 month saying they charge me for the water even though it's not on because I am the owner! What & Why?

One star is too good! Over 30 years I have paid DWA over $36,000 in water fees. Not only are their rates exorbitant but their office attitude is rude and condescending. They are now turning off residents water WITHOUT any notice if you’re one day late in payment. Then they charge an outrageous fee to reconnect. This is such a scam. They’re govt employees and a monopoly so they can abuse the public as they wish. This swamp needs to be drained!!!!

I received a bill yesterday almost four times the normal amount. Included was a letter from RODNEY, indicating what was already obvious on my bill. I left a message suggesting that the district TELEPHONE the customer when the meter reader notices the disparity. Between the date of the reading and my receipt of the bill 7 days had passed with no notice.RODNEY was immediately defensive explaining that they do not call customers and that his letter was a COURTESY redundantly explaining the obvious, there was a leak. I discovered and fixed it in 10 minutes.Rodney' attitude was unprofessional bordering on rude. Where is their concern for water conservation?

Worst online payment processing system which doesn't even update on time. It's 2017! I've lived all over the US and never dealt with a utility company that has such a backward payment system. The only thing worse than their payment processing service (which charges a ridiculously high fee) is their customer service. Incredibly rude people!

Everytime my bill is due I walk it inside the office! It's never a line I never have to wait the window is always available ,the lady at the window is always friendly! Always on a professional level.
