Ramon's wife speaking: I met Ramon when I started a new job where he was already temping. When I was laid off in Dec. of 2008, at the depths of the great recession, Ramon introduced me to a number of different talent agencies. At that time he worked with 9 different ones. I talked to all of them, but nothing panned out except for Digital People and one other one. Ramon would frantically call all his contacts, trying to set up the next job, always worrying about how things would work out. I thought that was way too stressful and after a couple of years he came around to my way of thinking.We both were working exclusively with Digital People until Ramon got it in his head that he didn't want to sit in front of the "frickin' computer" all day. He went back to school to become a massage therapist. Shannon was awesome at finding jobs for Ramon with flexible hours to allow him the time he needed for school. For a year he worked full time during the day and went to school at night and on weekends. Then there was a year and a half of balancing the graphic design work with building the massage business. Again, Shannon came through with jobs that fit his schedule.I continue to get long term assignments; I know I won't be between assignments for long! I like being a contract worker for Digital People so much that I refuse to apply to permanent positions, even when directly requested to do so by my boss. I look forward to many more years of working with Shannon, Frank and the whole team at Digital People. Keep up the great work!
