Feedback:

This place is just like the state of NC. Dirty, slummy and nasty. Workers here are by far the slowest and laziest employees representing the state. They can’t even afford to pay for A/C in the crack hole of an establishment. Worst DMV ever!

This facility is absolutely terrible... Not only are the customer service representatives less than helpful they are incredibly rude. I guess at this point in my life I shouldn't be surprised by the lack of customer care or desire to work for that matter in any DMV; but nonetheless, I am incredibly disappointed. The employees are catty and will take any opportunity they can to charge you an extra "fee". The process to renew your registration in this state is already a borderline criminal racquet but these people just add to the problem.

Giving this place a 1 Star for no other reason than you can’t talk to an actual person with the number provided. It’s recording after recording.

The process took some time due to the paperwork requirements and a failure on my behalf but the ladies behind the counter were very courteous and professional and made the process very simple. The line was fairly long when I got there but the speed with which customers were processed moved it right along. I will definitely go back to this agency for plate renewal when the time comes.

It's the closest one to those of us with a Spring Lake NC but resides in Harnett County. There was one in Lillington but it closed due to embezzlement... Go figure. Even though, you now have to go to the Dunn office if you want to keep in the County. Spring Lake is the closest one for us. I wish you the best of luck in getting your Title . ? ? ??

Super long wait time but very friendly and helpful. I would like to suggest chairs and take a number verses standing the entire hour or more. My back and feet were killing me. Lol but seriously

I purchased a motorcycle with no lien holder and received a title with my name misspelled. I went into the Spring Lake, NC location and the attendant (Spring Lake, NC) insisted on charging me $25 to reissue the title with the correct spelling. I pointed out that the information on form MVR-1 North Carolina Title Application was correctly spelled. I’m supposed to pay for a clerk error? The attendant went on to say that I had to find out the branch that miskeyed the information – HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO FIND THAT OUT? The information she (Spring Lake, NC) gave me was COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS. I called the Raleigh office and they fixed the error free of charge. My advice to you, if you are being helped by someone who looks to be past retirement age, verify the information they are giving you because it may not be how the DMV system operates today.

Waiting is always the name of the game at the DMV. Just as surely as death and taxes. The Spring Lake Department of Motor Vehicles is the same in this regard, however they work as quickly and efficiently as possible and try to solve customer issues in the first try. They are very accommodating to military personnel and honestly try to help whenever they can. I had a very possitive experience.

New renovations have doubled the size of the place. I have never gone in and was out in less than five minutes. DMV and quick service are never in the same sentence. They are now. Very friendly now that the place is bigger. Maybe there is less stress from angry hour wait customers. Maybe there is hope for other DMV's. Glad I live in the best city in the world, SPRING LAKE, NC!
