The place was filthy. There was garbage, including empty juiceboxes and plastic cups, kicked under the beds. The electric is scarily outdated. The dial for the bedroom fan sparks when you change the fan speed. There is an outlet in a bedroom with a missing plug - it’s just packed with cotton. The temperature never regulates. 78-80 in the afternoon and freezing at night. There’s a giant hole in one of the bedroom doors. The carpets are stained and so are the couches. We had to have the company come in to clean the showers again because they were filthy. There’s chipping and peeling paint over the entire back deck. The windows and blinds haven’t been cleaned in a year or more. The extra blankets in the closets smelled terrible. For $5,300 for the week, I expected at least a clean house.

Ugh, we stayed at peir view 2. For 6000.00 the fridge should have closed. The beds were so uncomfortable . They did a whole roof right beside us, in prime season. There were nails and shingles everywhere. The sliding glass door took two men to even open. Outdated bathrooms. Rusty fixtures in the house. Front door squeaks like a house alarm. Had to call maintenance 3 days in a row. Furniture was uncomfortable and some of it upstairs was broke. The pool is only big enough for two people. Bad experience, stay away from this place. The blinds were also stuck in the up position in the upstairs bedroom, also upstairs bedrooms had little ants.

My family has been renting from Dunes Realty for years. Unfortunately, I doubt we will again. The property we rented this week was in a state of disrepair, structurally unsafe, not properly maintained and dirty. The only reason I am even giving Dunes Realty 2 stars is because the ladies I spoke to on the phone each time were nice. Management, however, did not follow up on a few problems. The biggest of them being that our back deck was not structurally sound. Dunes didn't even realize there was a problem until I brought it to their attention (the day after we arrived). Two guys came to look at the deck a few days later and said it was unsafe and should not be used. No attempt was made to repair the deck. We also had a pool that was unusable. The problem was never fixed. The washing machine broke,one bathroom sink was unusable and many other issues. The place was also dirty and basically falling apart (old/broken appliances, pool fence falling down, broken pool chairs, debris in backyard, filthy carpet, etc.). There were several other issues such as a broken pull out sofa, old/filthy pots and pans, and broken pool gates that were addressed and fixed.
