We have called repeatedly and faxed this company to obtain a certificate of insurance for our contractor to present to a homeowner. This agency will not call us back, send us the information or talk to us. We are filing a complaint with the office of the PA insurance commissioner as I write this. CONTRACTORS and HOMEOWNERS beware of this agent.

terrible customer service was on hold for over 9 min then they finally came back to the line and gave me another number to call because the fax and email didnt work (but have working internet) for the last 5 days very unprofessional

This agency is very unprofessional! I have contacted the agent Sean Barrett on numerous occasions on his business and personal phone and he refuses to return my call. I am now being charged for 2 life policies because he did not stop the auto-withdrawal for the previous policy. Since I am doing "business" with him the least that he could do is return a call. Terrible service.

Don't go here terrible customer service, Had all sorts of trouble and miscommunication regarding switching coverage .. Agents do not return phone calls. Overpriced.. hidden fees not explained when obtaining my policy.. RIPOFF

Typical third party company with an average wait time of ten minutes. If just calling to pay your bill be prepared to be on hold. Two stars because they do offer state required service for a minimum. If you need immediate assistance contact your primary insurance directly.

I recently purchased auto insurance, and after talking to the Agent, Tracey, I also purchased Renters insurance. And I was very skeptical about purchasing because of the reviews but did not know about getting my own policy without paying an arm and a leg. I sat with the agent, Tracey, and being completely honest it was the easiest best experience I’ve ever had with buying insurance. She had even talked to me about renters insurance and because the price was affordable I purchased that as a bundle. When I got home I contacted the company and it was all as explained - The price that I paid and the price that I was going to pay. I would absolutely recommend this agency, Tracey to anyone that is looking for insurance.

DO NOT GO HERE! Purchased buisness insurance on a Friday from Tracey Kolano. Paid the premium & was told I'd get an email Saturday with my policy details. By Monday, with no email, me & my husband BOTH called & was told she was either busy or just stepped out & would call us back. No big deal, right? Tuesday, no return call so we both called again at various times & was given the same lines. Wednesday afternoon - still no call back. So we stopped in & was told she was off, no one else could help us & to come back tomorrow. We were not happy with this answer & asked why she hadn't returned our call in 3 days. They called her cell (after giving us some grief) & Tracey assured us we were covered, could start our home improvement job, & she'd send us that email within an hr. She also stated the print out she provided to us Friday (showing what our limits where) was proof of insurance to show a homeowner. Meanwhile who wants to show a homeowner the limits on your insurance policy? That's not professional or any of their buisness. + It didn't even list a policy number. At this point we were frustrated with the TERRIBLE customer service & decided to just cancel the policy & go elsewhere. We signed a cancellation form & were told Berkshire Hathaway would be refunding us. We went home & called Berkshire to find out THEY NEVER APPROVED THE POLICY. It was denied Saturday & EF Barrett was notified Monday morning! But EF NEVER notified us something was wrong, even after all the calls we placed! They lied about us having an active policy! What if we started the job & something terrible happened? We would've been screwed & not even no it until we tried to file a claim! We drove BACK to the agency, told them what we found out & demanded a refund. We were told they didn't have cash on hand & would issue a check. But we paid by CC so they could refund by CC & after reading these reviews & others from the BBB website we knew better. We weren't leaving without it. Sean Barrett kept trying to talk us into keeping a policy with them & REFUSING to refund us on the spot. So while I stayed inside arguing, my husband went outside to talk to a cop who was sitting across the street, for advice. The cop said he's heard LOTS of horror stories about them & said if they didn't refund us it would be a crime - theft of services. He called a fellow cop to come help us. My husband texted me to come outside & we waited for the other cop. The officer went inside & spoke with Sean Barrett who magically said he was just about to refund us our money. We walked back in with the cop & got our refund. Good thing because one way or another we were gonna be made whole again. I would NEVER refer my WORST ENEMY to this agency. Especially since doing my research after the fact & realized everyone's horror stories are ALL THE SAME. DO NOT GO HERE & IF YOU DO & IGNORE MY STORY & ALL THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

I ONLY see Tracy Kolano. She is awesome and explains everything to you so you understand what you are getting and what you are paying for. She’s easy to get ahold of and she is wonderful at what she does. I defiantly recommend Tracy Kolano for any insurance needs you have. She’s hands down the best agent I’ve ever dealt with &/or had! Not to mention, she always saves me money and finds me the best insurance for my needs. Never any hidin fees with her or scams going on unlike every other insurance agent I’ve had in my lifetime! She is straight to the point and very fast and reliable and gets you a better price than anywhere else. Go see Tracy Kolano if you’re tired of being ripped off and paying a million dollars for insurance! My family will never go elsewhere other than to Tracy.

E F Barrett was the worst experience what ever you do don't let Shawn the son of the owner, help you never explain anything. The Insurance company mailed me a bill for $2,100 dollars a month he never help me. I canceled the Insurance and end up with a big big bill that I have to pay...
