We have always bragged about our State Farm Insurance. This weekend, roadside assistance left me in tears.We decided to take my husband ( who is on Hospice) on a little trip to Shoshone Falls since he doesn't ever get out of the house or even the bed. Our car broke down (very unusual). We called for a tow, and advised roadside assistance we had a patient on oxygen. Road side assistance advised us to call 911; not an option if you are on Hospice, and we let them know that. The $377 to cover towing was immediately taken out of my bank account. We contacted the towing company to let them know also. Two hours later we were contacted by the towing company to let us know they had not yet received a P.O. to authorize them to come get us. I couldn't believe it; in this day and age of computerization, the State Farm road assistance hadn't acted! I have never been so disappointed and wanted to cry, but didn't want to do so in front of anyone else in our vehicle.
