The 3 guys in the office are great! They know the insurance situation for homeowners in the mountains can really be a challenge and they know where to go for the answers.

BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! They are thieves.When I decided not to go with them and told them to cancel my policy and not cash my check the day they received it. They told me verbally they wouldnt over the phone and I even have email proof of our conversation but they did and they now charged me $600 dollars of fees for cancelling. When I asked them to give me my declaration page in writing stating the charges and breaking it down. They couldnt. I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance for their scandalous ways of doing business and I will be speaking with a lawyer to file a civil lawsuit against these people. They wanted $1400 for coverage on my cabin and charged me $600 for cancelling coverage. I found another insurance company that charged me 700 for the entire policy and it included some things this insurance didnt. Dont bother going thru Chris, hes very unprofessional over the phone and he doesnt care about his clients. Its $$$ in his pocket first. They should be ashamed of themselves for being a broker in big bear...people up there are very nice but these are the ugly ones that dont belong in the community. I dont know how they sleep at night. Utterly digusting. I have spoken to other clients of his that have the same issues! They raise the rates really high and charge a broker fee..no one else charges a broker fee...shows how greedy this company is.

The office is quick to take my payments each month but as soon as it requires real work they become very unprofessional. They give excuses and blame everyone else for why they can't renew home policies. I got a notice from my mortgage company that my policy wasn't renewed and Chris said he would take care of it, 3 weeks later he calls to tell me the policy is expired and I'll have to pay over the phone to reinstate. Where was the follow up during that time! I finally assumed he would follow through on his word and take care of it. He only had excuses and when confronted, changed the topic and turned it personal to where he will never come to where I work. Completely unprofessional! I've been with farmers since my first car at 16, the company is great but they should ensure their agents hold the same company values.

This vendor is highly specialized with flood insurance, they know what they are doing but they need to improve communication skills especially for time sensitive transactions

I also experienced the same problem, called for a quote. Insurance agent said he would contact me by the next day. Next day came ..no quote. I called and no call back. Very poor customer service, but that's okay I took my business elsewhere.

Poor service....I called for a quote on a vacation home in Big Bear. The person I spoke to couldn't answer some basic questions and refused to provide a quote to me...........HOW DO YOU STAY IN BUSINESS???? I CAN IMAGINE THE COOPERATION IF A CLAIM IS EVER FILED WITH YOU...
