I fully appreciate that being a police officer can be a stressful job. However their job is to protect and serve people in America, people in distress, and when someone calls that could be in a serious situation it would be nice for the people on the phone to talk with a little compassion and care, and not with attitude and as if they are annoyed?

As a black business woman i am use to my concerns being handled with disregard. However Lieutenant Frets, Corporal Holmes and Detective Conan handled my issue quickly and professionally.No, I did not get the results I expected, but they tried to help me find the answer to my problem.

The female Watch Officer that was working the shift this morning was terrible to work with even for a brief interaction like the one I had today. After waiting over 15 min for the officer to return to her post I was greeted with a “What?” After explaining why I was there I was met with multiple eye rolls and faces that were completely unnecessary. The men and women of the GTPD are always professional and courteous on every other occasion besides this one. It is very troubling to think that when the general public meets one of the more important positions in the headquarters, interacting directly with the public, that they are left with this type of memory. Lots of respect for our GT police. Unfortunately, most are grossly under trained in dealing with residents in mental crisis. Their lack of response to multiple mental crisis calls resulted in the attempted suicide of my dear neighbor. Mental illness is a medical condition and should be treated as such. Hope this changes. I can easily see this happen again in our community.

Got arrested by Officer Flannery back in March for a warrant while selling insurance. Coolest Cop I've ever dealt with. Squad car was very roomy and incredibly clean, all factors considered. He handled my situation with class, patience, and complete professionalism. I'm a person of color and I felt very safe. 10/10 would be arrested by him again.

I went to this station to file an incident report for identity theft. They questioned me like I was the suspect!!!! I waited for 30 minutes because someone was ahead of me. Thats understandable. They didn't want to do any paperwork. They sent me to another precinct in another county even though the crime happened in their township. They totally wasted my time. If it was up to me, I really wish could give them a negative star!They are as worthless as a pint of piss.
