The female Watch Officer that was working the shift this morning was terrible to work with even for a brief interaction like the one I had today. After waiting over 15 min for the officer to return to her post I was greeted with a “What?” After explaining why I was there I was met with multiple eye rolls and faces that were completely unnecessary. The men and women of the GTPD are always professional and courteous on every other occasion besides this one. It is very troubling to think that when the general public meets one of the more important positions in the headquarters, interacting directly with the public, that they are left with this type of memory.
