What a great place - the lowestoft players are great actors and the show was outstanding

Watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Great performance by the performers thoroughly enjoyed it. West end standard. NHowever our seats in the circle were uncomfortable. If you are taller than 5ft 6in your knees are pressed hard into the seat in front and you have to sit sideways. I realise this is quite common in older theatres, but just a warning for taller people.

Went to see lowestoft players and there version of chitty chitty bang bang absolutely brilliant they really bring out the best in lowestoft so proud cant wait for pantomime.

Theatre is ok, especially since refurb, and lots of great shows although seats are pretty hard and cramped. However, the booking system is terrible. Once a performance is nearly full you can't book online, you have to ring instead. Phone constantly goes through to answer phone after 5 rings. In desperation you leave a message. They get back to you an hour later, by which time the seats you want have been sold. Oh and if you try and book via your phone it's not much better as the mobile website doesn't work properly - cant log in, can't see which seats are available and can't select or book a seat. Sort it out Marina Theatre, seeing as you are the town's main theatre. Not a very professional setup.
