Feedback:
Beautiful library, and great location! The parking can be challenging but worth it. The only negative I have is the staff at the checkout counter is not very engaging with customers. They have a very rough unapproachable demeanor. At times it discourages me from going to this location because I don’t want to deal with all that. But the librarians are very helpful and have gone above and beyond on several occasions for me.
Feedback:
I always have a great experience at the Woods branch. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My most recent visit was extraordinary though: I was searching for a very odd and hard to find topic. Two staff members went way out of their way for me, taking the extra time to find the exact books I was searching for. Best experience yet! Thank you again GPW library staff! 5 stars

Feedback:
I love this place. I put in a job application because I love the atmosphere and the books. I hope I get in as a library assistant. I am just waiting for a callback.
Feedback:
Library staff treats students of color poorly. I will not be recommending any child to go to this branch.
Feedback:
The Woods Branch library is well-maintained and quiet with a friendly staff and services/activities for people of all ages. It is WiFi enabled with adequate space to accommodate students, adults, children and/or professionals. It has a wide selection of movies, games, books and STEM content. It is part of the GPPL network, which allows direct book/content transfers among all GP libraries for those who request/schedule. The website is also intuitive. This library is a good place to work, relax or enjoy with your children.
Feedback:
I am a GP resident and this is a beautiful and much needed facility for everyone in our family (myself and my children). Thank you for applying our taxes towards such a useful and physically welcoming environment, HOWEVER, it just saddens me to see some very odd and border-line discriminatory behavior from some (not all) of the senior staff. This facility needs: - Fresh blood in management. I will follow the rules, and if I make a mistake, I will gladly accept someone bringing it up to my attention in a respectful fashion. However, I will not accept a disrespectful tone of superiority from anyone, no matter how old they are. If it was ok to speak to someone with this tone/attitude in 1940 then let's keep it in that era. I will not allow myself or my children in 2019 to be addressed this way or have to deal with that sort of hatred. I will continue to come this facility and use the services it provides because it's my right and my taxes pay for it. - to update its study room policy and application. - a complaint box - people must be able to voice their issues directly to be respectfully address (without the need to revert to a public platform such as this one). This box must be opened and handled by an independent entity other than the managing staff. - A shaded outdoor lunch area must be provided to make it possible to bring the kids in for an event and still be able to take them outside for a quick bite. - a nearby mailbox would be helpful (I am not sure if there is one).- Internet reliability (though getting better with today's upgrades) needs to be given a high priority considering its importance on everything we do in today's "modern" world
Feedback:
Beautiful library. Has a great audio/visual room where I borrow various audio books and DVDs, no cost for most, anything about a year or less old is only $1. Nice kids area that my son enjoys. Truly appreciate the online system that I can request books for pick up, even from the other GP libraries and pick up here.
Feedback:
2018 is the year we live in , and America is still divided! The library rules are bias and racist what are we teaching the next generation, if you live in a certain. zip code you are superior against another! Children should be treated equally, and not by the color of their skin or zip code ! Grosse pointe library staff you should be ashamed of your self. God is watching your poorly diversity racial actions!
