Client Review on Henry Company Homes, Inc.

Feedback:

Henry Company Homes advertise themselves as a military friendly business. My entire experience (apart from the initial meeting with a person no longer employed by them) has not only shown that they are not military friendly, but misogynistic and impetuous. During the buying process, I made it known from day 1 that my husband was deployed and I would remain the point of contact throughout the buying process. They continued to call, email, and leave him messages to schedule meetings. I would only become aware of this much later through my realtor. We missed the opportunity to choose cabinets, flooring, paint, etc because of this and were only able to choose a handful of finishes. Any time that I would call about an issue, they would call my husband back for the response.... he was DEPLOYED. What part of a voicemail with my name and my phone number would convince you to call my husband?Upon closing, I was not informed that the person whom I signed my contract with was fired. No one from Henry Homes came to the final walk-thru, nor did they contact me or my realtor to inform us of this. During my final walk through, I noted that the floors were very dirty, but I was reassured that they would be cleaned. When I finally moved in, the floors still appeared to be dirty. I cleaned them myself only to discover that it was not dirt, but paint. That's right people, there was (and still remains) paint all over my floors. I'm not talking about a spot here and there. There is continuous splatters of paint throughout my entire home. Not only that, there are clear finger prints from someone wiping up the larger spots of paint with their hands. I am not a professional painter, but I think anyone would advise you to cover the floors before painting the walls/ceiling.I immediately contacted Henry Homes and continued to for some time about this issue. They told me over and over that they would not resolve the issue because it was a cosmetic issue. So when my husband came home, I informed him of the run-around they have given me throughout the entire process and the issues with the flooring. He decided to contact them as well. Paint does not belong on the floor. This is not a cosmetic issue. This is poor craftsmanship. Long story short, the last contact we had was with the warranty guy telling us he had a meeting with his bosses and would let us know the result. This was in the summer... but still nothing. So I have no choice but to do what I have to do to get this issue resolved. My in-laws have no gotten involved as I have been consumed by work and my husband has been off and on away from home. They have sent several emails and left messages as well.I'll update if anything changes.
