Client Review on Hôtel Ibis Styles Paris-Val-de-Fontenay

A very disappointing experience. I stood there in the last 2 weeks but I would not go there again. Very nice and polite receptionists, close to train station and ... that is all. There is nothing else good about this hotel. Breakfast is terrible and extremely limited, except coffee / tea the rest of food is very cold, rooms and furniture are very old, sink is broken, electricity is working poorly and if a light bulb is broken it is not replaced. WiFi is poor and unusable because it stops every 2-3 minutes. There are neither a minibar nor a safe in the room. I went in a business trip, the hotel costed over 1100 EUR and in 2 weeks they didn't offer any toiletry or complementary products. I bought myself a shoe shiner with 1.30 EUR from the market. 95% of the persons I saw during week days were employees of the companies around the hotel. If you charge over 110 EUR a day and you do not offer a simple shoe shiner then there is nothing more to say.I returned with a severe cold and breathing problems because the only way you can heat the room is by turning on the air conditioner and that brings in the room a lot of air smelling very bad. Eventually you open the window to breathe properly and all the cold air from outside enters in the room. So you practically resolve nothing because in the end there is still cold air in the room.My very first experience with them was very poor. I called them 1 day before arrival to ask if it is possible to make an early check in and they said that it is possible only if I pay 20 EUR more. I say that I do not pay but I want to check in at precisely 12:00. They said no, 12:00 is too early. So practically if you pay 20 EUR they can do an early check in before 12:00, without any payment, later in the afternoon like me at 17:30 although you start paying for a room available from 12:00. Just choose another hotel if you want a better experience in Paris or if you simply want to focus at your work, like me, not at all the inconvenient situation due to the hotel.
