I had a horrific experience with Keller Williams - Falls Church (both their agent and the realtor-in-charge). Short timeline to sell and I trusted them and their contractors. What I feel I got was:1. They promised to put me in touch with their 'fair priced' contractors, but were late doing so. One failed to respond at all, and the other wanted $1000s of dollars per day. After I complained, they switched to another contractor who they swore 'would give me a good price this time'. So why didn't they offer the fairer-priced guy first? There can only be *one* reason why a realtor who has a fiduciary duty to their client would push the highest-priced contractors on us.2. Hidden fees upon contract signing. RED FLAG! Why do service companies use fees? Because most people avoid confrontation and will sign on the line. They acted like they were doing me a favor by saying 'I'll pay the fee for you".3. When I expressed dissatisfaction and pointed out their violations they went into blame-dodging mode. They made excuses, got snippy and accusatory, professed ignorance, dodged questions, avoided responsibility, tried to end the contract, and stopped communicating entirely.
