Client Review on Mac Collective

Feedback:

Pros- The people there are nice and friendly- You get to go to free sporting events- Lots of perks if you do your job rightConsYou are selling Comcast subscriptions for 8 hours a day 6 days a week and its is 100% commission. So it is possible for you to work 48 hours a week and get 0 compensation.P.S. Don't believe in all of the 5 stars they have on here. They are simply made from people within the company. Look at their profiles and you can see that they only have 1 contribution. While other contributions are from the same network. Here is the one star based off my experience:I went to interview here for a customer service/sales assistant role. It is a 2 day process. First day is very easy it was a get to know you type of activity that lasts 10-15 minutes. Second day is where they invite you to an outing where you will be at an event promoting a client's product. The event we went to was at a Walmart near Bloomingdale. Our client was comcast. So, basically for 8+ hours we had to stand near our table inside walmart and sell the plan to people. Which I believe is not a great way to increase ROI(Return of Investment). As it is a weekday so it's less busy and people go to walmart to shop cheap. Xfinity is not that cheap!Of course It was my fault for not asking about compensation during the first interview but then I asked in the beginning of the 2nd day and they told me I would have to wait to talk to paul after we come back which would be at 7-7:30pm. So, basically I had to stand there and observe them for 8+ hours they of course asked me some questions and challenges during that time span. But overall you're compensation is all based on commission and the ultimate goal is for you to become the managing director where you get your own marketing firm. So, it is not a resource for stable income in the beginning which is hard for the majority of people.I of course didn't want to waste another 4 hours waiting so I told them no I will not wait. Then they told me well they're on the clock and paul is working so I can either just stay or leave.I left. I had to arrange a lyft to come and pick me up which cost me half of $100. I find that very insulting and very disrespectful as i took time off for this. I just wish they were a little bit more transparent and upfront about the job role and responsibilities and not waste an interviewer's whole day just to get their hopes up.
