Ive been with Maxey Ins for almost 10 years...referred by my Sister, whom is also still a customer. Very efficient, competent, competitive place yet with a small town feel. They know you're name ...take time to answer questions..and go the extra mile to find best most cost effective way of insuring you. I have never had a complaint with them or about them. I love them and am thankful to have found them. Melanie is the lady in the office and could not be more professional and competent all while maintaining a friendly demeanor as if we are neighbors. I had to include her because yes the company delivers yet its Melanie that has my business! :) Great job!

This company is very very rude and has bad customer service. I’m guessing the owner and receptionist or whatever she is are having relations or married because both of them don’t know how to communicate with perspective clients. I always figured you needed a persons license number (because every other insurance company ask for it) to see a persons driving history and that really determines your quote but kristy didn’t ask for either and when I asked why she became very rude I wouldn’t recommend them to a dog ! Even this one star is irritating because they deserve none. I read the reviews already and it’s crazy how the only ppl satisfied with their service is majority white.

I began getting car insurance with Maxey in 2012. I never had an issue. Fast forward 2016, I called and inquired about the cost of commercial car insurance because I was thinking about using my new car for rideshare. The agent gave me a quote, the quote was very costly, so I told her I just want full coverage and I am no longer interested in commercial insurance for rideshare. The agent aggressively said "NO, I cannot give you a quote for full coverage because you just asked for commercial insurance." I stated I was inquiring, and I was a repeat customer, and I wanted to get full coverage instead of commercial insurance. She continued to say NO and refused to offer me insurance, then hung up on me. My relationship with this company was great until this incident. I didn't think an inquiry would cause a refusal of service.
