I began getting car insurance with Maxey in 2012. I never had an issue. Fast forward 2016, I called and inquired about the cost of commercial car insurance because I was thinking about using my new car for rideshare. The agent gave me a quote, the quote was very costly, so I told her I just want full coverage and I am no longer interested in commercial insurance for rideshare. The agent aggressively said "NO, I cannot give you a quote for full coverage because you just asked for commercial insurance." I stated I was inquiring, and I was a repeat customer, and I wanted to get full coverage instead of commercial insurance. She continued to say NO and refused to offer me insurance, then hung up on me. My relationship with this company was great until this incident. I didn't think an inquiry would cause a refusal of service.
