Pretty alright hospital have ended up in emergency here a few times also had surgery.. Must say it's no good if you need to see a specialist in a emergency as you generally would end up in Townsville,, Brisbane or another hospital specialising in your problem.. The chronic disease care team are very good and it is definitely the best place to go for medication if it was any better they would personally deliver it to you and put it down your throat.. Also please get rid of the broken vending machine I've probably lost 10 bucks to..

It was DISGUSTING! The way I was treated at Mount Isa Hospital was PATHETIC!!! I’ve made complaints about the staff members with mental health patients that they seem to not take seriously! How are disrespectful people employed? This hospital doesn’t even deserve a star.

Had the most amazing experience ever compared to NSW. The midwives the nurses the doctors were super helpful and made sure i went through the night ok despite of the pain. You all are awesome. Thank you.

Don’t take it out on the hospital , it’s the State and Federal Governments who don’t give them enough money to operate the way some people want them to . So take it out on them , not the hospitals or staff

Recently I spent a few hours in Emergency at Mt Isa hospital and I must say that the care and attention I received from doctors and nursing staff was amazing. Thankyou for your care and the explanations relating to my condition.Rural hospitals have it all over city ones

Went there at 10pm, vomiting and to the point of passing out. I was the only one in the waiting room and left after I waited 4 hours to not be seen by a doctor. Clearly understaffed

Our one year old was admitted via the hospital’s Emergency department on Xmas eve and stayed two nights in the Children’s ward. We were travelling but based in Brisbane and due to my other child’s condition acutely familiar with service and care at Queensland Children’s Hospital as a baseline. I have to say the level of nursing care, medical attention and supporting facilities are second to none and as good as any public hospital in Brisbane. I was particularly impressed with the after discharge care, follow up and consultation. Potential patients should have no qualms admitting to the hospital.
