Our one year old was admitted via the hospital’s Emergency department on Xmas eve and stayed two nights in the Children’s ward. We were travelling but based in Brisbane and due to my other child’s condition acutely familiar with service and care at Queensland Children’s Hospital as a baseline. I have to say the level of nursing care, medical attention and supporting facilities are second to none and as good as any public hospital in Brisbane. I was particularly impressed with the after discharge care, follow up and consultation. Potential patients should have no qualms admitting to the hospital.
