Although you pay more than in town due to being in a rural area where the density is low, in return you get excellent prompt service from a local company and not a big conglomerate that has no idea who you are or don't even care. When we lived in town, if our internet was out, it was difficult to get anyone on the phone and it would take days and weeks to get anyone out to service your home. We have been using Myakka tech for over 10 years and we have always had good service from the nicest people ever. I'm willing to pay more for prompt, good service. My husband and I use our internet for business and it's important for us to have good, reliable service.
