Capt Ackerson and his Family Care team are great. He's very knowledgeable, he understands the impact of medical situations on military service and takes the time to explain whatever you all about. His team of corpsmen and nurses are also fantastic.

After using this health clinic for 27 years I can vouch for their professionalism - patience - and willingness to serve. Yes sometimes they're backed up - and sometimes not everything runs smoothly - however considering we're on an active duty station - they do a pretty outstanding job!

This clinic is a joke. There is never any availability, they are habitually understaffed, and their receptionists are rude. I've never been able to get in to see my PCM the entire time I've lived here. I'm pregnant. Got a fever. When the fever got high enough, I called the on-call number. My OB says to see my PCM. So I call to get an appointment and the rude receptionist tells me to see my OB. Well my OB (the one who is a medical professional) said to see my PCM. "Well I don't have anything today." Of course you don't. Your clinic is a joke. Just switch out.

At building 1028 there is always GREAT STAFF THERE with southern hospitality. You can't get lost here, bc someone is always willing to help. The building is currently getting renovated, so parking maybe an issue. Get there early for your appointment. Stop by the Ketola Museum in DENTAL, and see the tooth fairies' treasures. ;-)
