Feedback:

I have yet to enter a North Carolina Motor Vehicle Agency that has a black employee. I have lived in several counties and visited others and there was not even one.

Convenient area but plan on being busy of you are in a hurry.

It has been years since I’ve stepped into this particular office and today I remembered why. I attempted to get a replacement sticker which I’ve done in the past with no issues, which turned into a very unpleasant ordeal. First instead of the gentleman that initially waited on me listening to my request he chose to rush through the process since he was ready to go to lunch. He quickly put up his closed sign as I approached. So of course he gave me the incorrect item. He then told me I needed to get in the second line to have it backed out and get what I needed. I politely did as asked and waited for 30 minutes. I did have the extreme displeasure of witnessing each member of the staff being rude to several customers. It is my extreme wish that if they are not in the mood to do their jobs that they remain at home. Once my 30 minutes wait was over and I finally made it to the top of the line I was rudely told that they couldn’t assist me lol. You can’t make this stuff up. I will stick the online services going forward but if I should find myself in need of reporting to a local license plate agency for help it won’t be the rocky mount location. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. They tend to forget that they provide a public service and it’s the public that they serve that’s provided their pay checks.

The Nash Co location is a joke. The people working there are not friendly and appear to be uneducated on the subject. I purchased a new car and was trying to transfer my plates. The person that I was talking to told me I could not transfer my plate and that I could not drive the car. Then he told me that if I had any further questions, to get back in line. At the time he started helping me, no one else was in line. He basically told me to leave. I called the Raleigh office and talked to a person who told me exactly what I need to do. Which is to get a 10 day tag from license agency. I will not go back to Nash Co and will either go to Wilson, Edgecombe, or drive to Raleigh. Rocky Mount is not what it use to be.

I live within 2 miles of this location but to be honest, I would almost rather drive all the way to Tarboro to have my business taken care of. There always seems to be a line hanging out the door and moving at a snail's pace. Each time I have done business there I witnessed rude employees with poor customer service.
