I was surprised to see how many bad reviews this company has. I’m from Louisville and moved here within the last couple of years. Every time I call in for anything, it’s like talking to a family member (in a good way)! Their customer service people are so ridiculously friendly. When you call in you can hear people talking in the background / playing music like they’re at a family get together. It’s just not the type of kindness you see from the Louisville Water Company.

The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and very helpful they explained every detail and option to me and made establishing service at our new house smooth and easy. I never leave reviews but after reading the only review on here and going there myself I knew it needed to be corrected, they are great!

Woman working in office smirked when I said our water was shut off & I needed to establish service. I asked why I hadn't been advised the day before when I called to establish service that I better get there fast because they were shutting the water off ? (Can't establish service over the phone or by computer) I even told them I would be there today but I needed their address as I wasn't from this state. No mention that if I didn't hurry water shut off & additional fee. She said "I don't know who you talked to and tipped (not handed but tipped the end of the pen) to me to agree to pay the deposit of $ 110 and now an additional fee of $25. As she walked to the copier for a copy of my drivers license, she said " there's no reason to be unpleasant about it, it's not going to change anything". I was frustrated that I was now paying an additional fee but I wasn't unpleasant. I'm sure she wouldn't be happy paying out $25.00 needlessly.Then a different employee completed my transaction. No small town courtesy here but definitely a small town operation
