Spent the day in Weston whilst on holiday in Burnham for a week this summer.We had been for a dog walk on the beach and I put my dog into the back of the car for a rest for an hour, leaving each window open approximately 2 inches although it was a very windy day.I paid £3.50 for a parking ticket which I placed on the dashboard. When I returned I had a parking ticket! I couldn't make out why then realised that the ticket had fallen into the foot well!I appealed on line including a photo of the ticket, and pointed out the car photos they had supplied showing the windows open.But they had none of it and said I had to pay. I would suggest like most other counties they place a small sticker on the back of the ticket so you can stick it onto the window!Suffice to say we wont be returning to Weston and my £3.50 was not refunded!
