Good morning-- Our trip was fantastic! Avalon went over and above. Did we have challenges, you bet, did they handle it with ease, you bet.We had to change ships (which meant repacking-no big deal), they transferred our luggage via luggage truck to the new ship. Essentially what happened was the ships (2) stayed put and the passengers changed. Water was so low, they had no choice. We didn't miss anything on tour that was promised. Sure maybe a little longer on a bus than anticipated but it certainly wasn't a big problem. The cruise director, Stefano, was unbelievable calm and handled everything with ease. Judy Davis took care of everything including our extended hotel reservations and driver to the airport without any problems -- so nice to know at the end of the trip when you are tired, everything goes without a hitch. The unbelievable part was that a refund of over $900. was posted to our credit card in less than a week (8/30) after arriving home. We spoke to several "Viking" clients who had the same water issue, and Viking was doing 0 for them. Avalon, Oswego Travel, & Judy Davis has our travel business in the future.
