My patients have to pay out of pocket to their dentist because their dentist no longer take Premera because they cut the dental providers by over 30% in their reimbursement and they can no longer afford to stay in-network. Not to mention because they are out of network they are mailing the insurance check to the patients and not the dentist which is super inconvenient for both patient and provider. Premera is just another insurance company who is in healthcare for the money and not the patient. Loss for the Providers and Loss for the Patient. Insurance companies always winning!
