Feedback:

Everytime I call them there is a wait for 30 to 45 min. It can be deeply frustrating when you may endup calling them multiple times if there is some confusion betweend pharmacy and the insurance. There is no easy way fo anything out of the routine. The path to call a rep and to have coordination between pharmacy and insurance is extremely difficult and stressful.

Feedback:

My patients have to pay out of pocket to their dentist because their dentist no longer take Premera because they cut the dental providers by over 30% in their reimbursement and they can no longer afford to stay in-network. Not to mention because they are out of network they are mailing the insurance check to the patients and not the dentist which is super inconvenient for both patient and provider. Premera is just another insurance company who is in healthcare for the money and not the patient. Loss for the Providers and Loss for the Patient. Insurance companies always winning!

Just make a small research on foot and surprise-surprise, medical companies charge you less if you go without Premera blue cross insurance. Urgent care bill ~180$ is 20$ less if I hide my insurance card. Have no idea why would anyone pay for this scam, go check yourself.

I was so excited when i heard that my employer have Premera as their health insurance policy, I heard so many great things about them. Now I just wish I can have my old insurance back, i had a case manager manager and a department who’s specially trained for my condition and they have a list of doctors that specializes with my condition. Since i was aging out of my parents insurance who i thought was crappy. Now, i just want to go back with my old health insurance, i had this insurance for almost 2months now and I still couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone, if I will be covered for my procedures or not. Called customer service 7times and my doctors reached out twice and I still couldn’t get a final answer. My old insurance even got me the coverages that I needed and all the prior Authorization needed the moment i started my treatment. Definitely not picking Premera as soon as I have a choice to pick different insurance provider.

Daughter broke her arm and they refuse to pay even though it is covered in my policy. Do not recommend. The one year I had them they did not pay out any of our drs visits.

Premera has been our insurance company for 5 years. While reading through the reviews I was quite surprised. Each time I call in the representatives are patient, work diligently to obtain accurate claim information. Our medical providers all accept the insurance and coverage is quite good given the nature of the health industry today.We are very pleased with our Premera plan.
