Client Review on State Farm

Feedback:

On Nov 10th I traded in and purchased a new vehicle and provided the make, model, and vin so I can get quoted. The dealer and insurance agent went back and forth confirming all information and gave me the quote of $85.07 which was only a few dollars more than what I was paying prior and purchased coverage under the pretense that the price was $85.07.I figured that this quote was accurate considering that the dealership had priced them my vin number several times. On Nov 14th I received and update from this insurance agent saying that there was a "problem with the vin #" and to send over the sale receipt which I provided on Nov 19th and heard nothing back. I then received a bill stating that I was paying $96.66 with no notification of this difference. When asking the agent why the difference she said she would look into it and when she did update me she said that there was a problem and that "The correction has been made to your Toyota IM", I was under the impression that she was adjusting the price back but nope... It was very hard for me to get direct replies to my questions and ended up having to call State farm direct where they were I found out that the insurance agent never had my make and model of my new car and must have quoted me off of a similar make/model but had I known the difference in cost I would have just called another insurance agent that day and avoided it all. Needless to say, I found a much better company and agent that was able to find me better coverage for a lower price.
