I went there for a party in their community center. The room/hall was spacious and it was set up quite professionally. I do know about how much they charge though.

When given the choice between Mediacom and Qwest/CenturyLink, it's a beautiful breath of fresh air to know that there are still companies and co-ops out there that care about their customers and members. Southslope is one of the few FANTASTIC internet service providers in the country and is the absolute best choice if you're in their service area.

I would like to take a moment to thank Brenda for her exceptional customer service skills. She was very patient and very understanding to my situation. In today's world you don't see to much of that anymore. Again if you need anything I strongly recommend speaking with Brenda. ? She's an absolute angel.

Not a good way to start out with this company. I was not not aware that the first billing cycle is prorated, so I'm now being forced to pay over $500 on my first bill. I was not aware that I was buying a router when the technicians told me my current router was not compatible and set up their own. And l also was not aware that there are "other" charges for installation of service. When I was told that my monthly billing should be around $160-$170 I was not expecting to receive a bill for $500. I would think that someone at some point would have told me to expect an almost tripled first bill. That's not exactly in my budget. After talking to the service desk over the phone all I was told by the lady is that she was not there so she doesn't know what was discussed and there's nothing they can do about it. Thank you South Slope for demonstrating to me that you are not any better then the big corporations, because you clearly only care about taking people's money.Edit: South Slope responded to this saying it looks like we came to a resolution. Just to clarify...WE DID NOT COME TO A RESOLUTION! The lady I had spoken to said I had until the next day to return the router or I was stuck with it. I was out of town that weekend and explained that to her in which she told me I was stuck with it and the bill if I wasn’t able to return it by the next day. Nice damage control, SouthSlope.

Never had any issues with South Slope like I have with other providers. Super fast and reliable, no outrageous installation fees. Too bad I’m moving and can’t keep them.

Fantastic for residential and a far superior option over mediacom. However... For business its a different story. You would think the packages for business would be better but you pay the same amount as a top package for residential at a quarter of the download and upload speed. Sad to say for business its not as good considering you will PAY A LOT MORE to even come close to a good speed. All that being said, still haven't had a single connectivity issue which is awesome!

I had South Slope at our last house for years and their internet service was amazing! I never had to call support, it just worked. Best provider ever. But when I moved to a new house this year, they want to charge over $500 to trench a line from the box 15 feet from my house. I would pay $100 or even dig my own trench to have their service instead of Mediacom which is horrible. It would be five stars if we could work something out.
