After a few Decades with my prior ins company, which unfortunately sold out to a conglomeration, a change was needed. The fees were getting higher and higher and the longstanding local feeling that was there for so long, had left. Many mailings had come and gone for State Farm in Port Jeff. Then I said 'what the heck' and made the change and it was a great decision! The office is welcoming from the start and even better, the staff I met was all top notch and treated me in the personal way I prefer and hope for. Theresa Caputo handled my requests and questions, smoothly and completely. There was no rushed feeling and the rates, excellent. Theresa also didn't try any hard sells, she gave me many options and also ways to further reduce my premiums. Done deal. Very Satisfied with Stephanie Sgroi's State Farm, Port Jeff Agency, in All ways.

Stephanie has been my insurance agent for years and the service from her and the office team has always been to help their customers at the highest level with honesty, integrity and kindness. Now I work here and it has been the most satisfying job experience. I am proud to be a part of her team and have the opportunity to help clients with their insurance needs. I love it when customers come in to the office and we get to meet them and hear about their life. Makes you feel good at the end of the day that you can make a difference.

After using Stephanie and her associates for the past few years, we recently decided to switch insurance companies to save a considerable amount of money monthly. We canceled our policy and started our new policy, everything was supposed to be handled, easy swap... so I thought. We were charged the full amount of our premium, on the date of our new policy’s start date- which shouldn’t have happened. After calling and trying to resolve the problem (hours after the payment came out) I was told, that we would have to wait for a refund check and there was nothing that they could do. I caught them in a lie, they never put the stop on the auto pay. Their mistake, became “sorry it’s your problem”. They then said I owed for a few pro rated days- FINE, no worries, I’ll pay the $40, but why take out the $350 for the full policy amount?! I wish I had been told that this was going to happen when we canceled our policy. People need to plan their finances and I planned mine accordingly, the lack of information was on their part. I would not recommend her office, as much as I hate making a bad review, I feel it’s necessary to inform others that they have a hard time conveying the process and giving clients all of the proper information.

There is a real sense of security knowing that something so personal as insurance is handled buy such professionals. If I ever need anything I know I can contact my agent Laura and she will and go above and beyond to make sure my issue is addressed. I highly recommend!

Simply the best agency for all insurance policies!! The Staff is so professional and helpful. i can call at any time and a real person answers, and they know me, and my policy.. oh and the ability to text my agent for a quick question , or answer, or reminder ... its so great.
