Feedback:

Only way to put it. Ghetto with a nice facade. Not only ours, but other residents air conditioning is insufficient for the size of the apartment. Maintenance solution? Install window units. The pool area always has broken glass in or around the pool. Constantly have to remind the office about issues. Maintenance IS understaffed. There’s only two. But basically one. The new guy is useless and inexperienced. For the amount of rent current residents pay, and now the ridiculous amount new residents will be asked to pay, this apartment complex is second rate at best. The security gate is a joke and either won’t let you in, or just flat out doesn’t work. The trash area routinely over flows even though there’s a compactor. Would it hurt to run that once a day? Not to mention the laziness of residents who are too bothered to even get their trash into the receptacle. Craftsmanship is low end. Cheap products used. (Closet doors, flooring, cabinets, toilets) and if you ever have the misfortune of seeing into the area where the water heater and a/c live, it becomes painfully obvious the shortcuts that were taken. We have at least two outlets that haven’t worked for almost a year. Despite having told the office multiple times. The light above the shower will randomly turn on and off. If it wasn’t for the fact that post hurricane rentals have skyrocketed in cost, we would have left shortly afterwards. It’s really sad too, because on the outside it looks nice. Ghetto with a nice facade.

Feedback:

During the most challenging time for our family-Hurricane Michael, October 2018; we were very blessed to find accommodations for our family in a very efficient manner. Maintenance and office staff were on top of their game, truly helpful in whatever capacity necessary including other residents as well. We would highly recommend, “The Place at the Grand” for a homestyle feeling, luxury apartment for future resident.

Feedback:

I’ve been here for over one year an I’m sure I’ll be sticking around much longer! I’ve never had any issues here, Kayla in the office was awesome when we moved in as well as Katie. The whole staff team is amazing as well at the maintenance crew!

Feedback:

Currently moving in. We were promised new appliances, updated flooring and a brand new apartment.1. The washing machine is so old there is not only rust outside but rust inside. It’s so bad my electrician dad says you can’t use it because it will double our electricity bill.2. Water damage on the floor in the living room3. All the blinds are dusty4. Rust on the sinks in both bathrooms5. Found pee on the toilet in the small master bath6. Bath tub is rusted and chipped7. Cracked tiles on the floor8. Wobbly staircase handle9. We have to forcefully turn the key in the door because the lock is shakey and was put on half way Being a active duty member and also a pregnant woman and on top of that I had to move all by myself. This breaks my heart. I am expected to pay a ridiculous amount of money each month to move in to these conditions. I completely understand the staff is completely under worked and maintenance is doing their best but moving into an unfinished apartment is beyond stressful

Feedback:

It is a place like no other I find peace here. I call it my second home.

Feedback:

Office staff and maintenance guys rock...but due to being understaffed for such a large complex...it’s a ghetto with a fancy paint job. Maintenance is so overwhelmed that they can’t keep up. The office staff is stressed and busy their butts. Not to mention rent went up due to the hurricane and price gouging from the corporate office. I have maintenance issues still unresolved from when I moved in. My dog gets briars in her feet due to the weeds and lack of grass. I have to pull them out every time she goes potty. Luxury apartment for $1350 a month. Not worth half that. Oh...and the gate just started working for the first time since August 2018 and 80% of the people that pay to live here can’t get in. I just had my name put in the system today and it’s not available on the system that was just updated. Um...need a new system??? Updates? They make plenty of money to do this. I’d gladly move out if there was a place to rent, post hurricane. Post note: the staff busts their butts! Corporate needs to step up and be what they claim they are.
