Recently I had a small fender bender. I live near State Farm agent Tom Schmitz (my sgent) office. Instead of calling I stopped in to find out if the repair expense would trigger a surcharge on my premium. Happily I learned it would not. The office manager, Maria Jaramillo, explained how to initiate a claim. I asked if I could do this from her office & she said of course. Because of my hearing loss, I had difficulty hearing the representative over the phone, Maria immediately saw what was happening & very calmly suggested she take over the call. She did so professionally with a very pleasant manner. She quickly completed the call & then turned her attention to providing me with the claim #, along with the phone # for Claims. I left her office marveling at the world class customer service Maria had just rendered.Let me clear. This was the most professional and competent customer service I have received in years. Maria’s ‘over & above expectations’ actions conveyed that my business was important to the agency. Finally, my interaction with Maria confirmed that Tom Schmitz cares enough about clients to install the most competent and pleasant office management to aid clients. Filing an insurance claim is not too distant from a root canal. Maria Jaramillo’s intelligence, competency and professional attitude and tendered by a gentle pleasantness takes much of the sting out task of filing a claim.I confidently recommend the Tom Schmitz State Farm Insurance agency. from which to acquire insurance.
