Client Review on Vienna House Magic Circus Paris
Feedback:
Our family’s stay at the hotel was briefly summarized very strange. The arrival was as usual, slightly stressed situation with tired children. The lady at the reception was very nice and also helped us to buy some tickets to Disneyland for tomorrow. When we arrived at our room the room was surprisingly, very small but there were 2 beds for adults and 2 for the children. The children liked the beds so we didn’t think about this issue any more. After approximately 2 days stay, we received a strange letter from Booking comm. No show fee?. They argued that my wife hasn’t arrived. Initially we thought that this would be a simple matter to explain to the hotel. To our surprise, they first told us that this was our problem, they argued that my wife was not with me the first day, then they changed it to that we didn’t present the booking confirmation, the identification papers ect. In short, little credible excuses. On top of that they also wanted me to call a French Boocking com number. We followed the instruction and had the pleasure to talk with a machine and, a lady who, at least we think that she told us to contact the hotel. We decided to try to avoid misunderstandings by writing an e-mail to both Boocking com and the hotel. The letter and the response is presented unedited: Hello, no show fee - we strongly indicate that this is a mistake. We are actually at the hotel now, We have checked inn as supposed on the 7 off October. 4 persons. 2 adults and 2 children. I paid for the hotel. We presented the booking confirmation on a mobile phone and all our passports. My e-mail was written down and my wife signed the check inn papers. The hotel gave us a room for 4 persons, the hotel call it a family room, or an upgrade. Now we are receiving a e-mail for no show. This is obviously wrong because we are here now and have been her since 7 October. By my wife's signature we can without doubt prove that we arrived in time. We also used a Visa card at the hotel on arrival. In our opinion we are not responsible to inform booking home about the room changes the hotel are doing. Our only possible wrongdoing is not to protest to the hotel that we get a family room instead of the ordinary booked rooms. Can you please take the discussion about the cancellation fee with the hotel. They will also contact you tomorrow. A copy is also sent to the hotel, because they asked us to contact booking com and explain the situation. On 10. okt., 11:18 we received a written e-mail: Dear Mr. DimcevskiFirst of all we really want to express to you our sincere excuses for the misunderstanding.Furthermore, we are happy to inform you that we will proceed with the refund of the amount taken for the no-show.Best regardsElivertaVienna House Magic Circus Réception Team
