The walking track isn't even 1/10th of a mile. There is one form of exercise that most people can participate in regardless of age or level of fitness. It isn't expensive like golf and doesn't require extensive training like tennis. It's walking. When they built that rec center at White Oak with NO track, I thought they would surely rectify that omission at Wheaton. I just went to the Wheaton library/rec center and they told me the track is 1/13th of a mile! Now I get it. These people aren't remotely serious about fitness for people down county who can't afford, or don't want to attend, a private gym. When the weather isn't suitable for outdoor exercise, which is often the case in this area (too hot, too cold, too rainy or whatever) this facility could have provided a way for people to get or keep their fitness level up and improve their health. What a wasted opportunity (again).

Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ library and recreation center. We came for the grand opening. I like the lounge with the refrigerator for eating and drinking snacks or meals.

It serves its purpose it's got a decent amount of books and you can also put requests from another library. Most of the staff are not helpful. They will actually encourage you to use the automated machines which begs the question as to why there even needs to be staff. Most of the staff I've seen are usually snapping at the patrons and seem to be busy with something else although I'm not sure what. So my recommendation is replace all the staff with automated machines and you'll have a terrific Library.

Five stars for the location and the cleanliness. If only it were as big as the Rockville Library. If you need a break from the books, the attached recreation center is free to use for county residents. Free ping pong, table pool, indoor track, and basketball courts!

It's a beautiful new facility with plenty to do and lots of room to do it! Having the Recreation Center here too is a real plus! It's the perfect place now to get the mind and body in shape!

The plus Is that it opens everyday and a good amount of computers. Limited quantity of books. First computer I tried, didn't recognize my flash drive.
