I had a great experience here. Laurita was a lovely person to work with!

Place is a dump...needs new staff. The clerks have no communication skills whatsoever. Good luck patrons. You will need it.

They Lost my license plate that was sent there, and couldn't be bothered to admit it. Waited 2 weeks before they actually confessed to losing, and then refused to write a letter stating they lost it so I could get a new one.
Feedback:
Always a line nearly out the door and much of the staff is less than friendly.

The delivery people of this place are some of the most incompetent I've ever seen. Constantly misdelivering packages to other addresses, and acting like bewildered buffoons when you show up to complain. UPS is infinitely better.

One of the worst situations I've ever encountered in a post office. Booked passport renewal appointment at 10am on Saturday, June 30th, 2018. After following the directions of all signage waited until 1020am. At that point went into main post office to attempt to get help. I was told that the passport office was closed even though I had a 1000am appointment with confirmation code in that post office. After waiting another 15 minutes another clerk came out to tell me again that the passport office was closed (which was obvious at this point). At nary a point did they ever suggest how I could go about getting the passport renewed for my 12 year old son that day. So I began to question what I could do since I was in town visiting my kids for just one full day and had made the appointment that day to take care of this with my ex-wife on hand. They suggested that I sign an additional document, get it notarized (on a Saturday no less), and have my ex-wife return to the post office at 9am on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 to have it processed. Do any of you want to guess what happened when my ex-wife and son returned on Monday morning with the notarized document. Of course, they were told they didn't have an appointment! Can you believe it? Of course you can! Furthermore, the passport office personnel stated that I received a cancellation email stating that the Saturday appointment had been cancelled. Complete and utter BS. I have documented proof of a confirmation email sent on Friday, June 29th at 415pm reminding me of my 10am Saturday appointment on Saturday, June 30th. We know the post office, even electronically, doesn't do anything after 430pm; so, I can say, with 100% confidence that the passport application taker at 125 S Estes Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27514 is a liar. She simply wanted to get the passport application renewer and parent out of her waiting area. It is completely unacceptable. I've attempted to contact the post office directly on this matter once returning to Atlanta, and have come away empty handed. The USPS is designed NOT to have to answer any questions from users of its services. That BS must end.So here is my promise to USPS at this office. During my next visit to my kids in Chapel Hill, I'm going to visit this office, take along my documentation, and ask the passport application taker to explain the appointment confirmation, office closer at appointment time, and her inability to tell the truth to a US tax payer that was in her midst trying to get her son's passport renewed. I make that solemn promise. Additionally, I've always believed in a national post office and the services it provides, until this year. I'm done supporting it and its inability to keep appointments, find my address, and delivery mail. I will in every interaction with my federal representatives take the USPS to task for its complete lack of customer service and willingness to take the shortest road no matter how lacking in customer service it represents. I'm done. And, good riddance.

Have to go in and see Denise. She is the absolute nicest postal worker I’ve ever met. She was speedily working to get everyone through on a busy day so that we could get out of the post office and enjoy the beautiful weather. Will be back again because of her
Feedback:
I am giving a five star mostly because of this wonderful person named Denise, she is an angel! USPS had lost an important letter of mine, and I wasn't getting any proper help, but she went above and beyond in helping me. Other folks there are just about doing as much as they can without being bothered much; I can't tell they worry much about the quality of service they provide. But Denise helped me enormously and generously, and I am very thankful!

I HATE going to this location and only go 1-if they make me come pick up a package that needs a signature, or 2-I can't get to the (far FAR superior Timberlyne location by 4:30). No one was ever overtly rude to me (as in other comments) but waiting for pickup for 30 minutes is accurate (the "I've buzzed them already, they should be coming" stuff is all true as well). Unless you are using the automated shipping, be prepared to stand in line for 20-30 minutes. Last time I was there (admittedly it was around Christmas) there were about 25 people in line and only two people accepting packages. After about 4 people were served one went on break. It took about 45 minutes to ship 2 packages. Avoid this location at all costs.

They absolutely don't care about you. I was going to open a business PO box here, but their attitude is so horrible, there is no way I would trust them with my business mail. I would give zero stars if possible.
