Century 21 was so easy going and helpful! I've gone through 4 other Rental companies on the island and this will be the one I stick with!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. After booking a vacation home, I came to discover that the google map provided on Century 21’s website depicted the house 3/4 of a mile further north than it actually is. This made a difference for our family as we had booked that house based on it being walking distance from restaurants, shops, the pier etc and an extra 3/4 of a mile made that impossible for little 4 year old legs. When I called to point out the discrepancy, the person I spoke with said it was my fault for not double checking their map. Apparently one should always assume that a realty company cannot accurately use google maps. That aside, we were determined to enjoy our vacation anyway. Even that became challenging when we discovered on our first night that our house was infested with cockroaches. I’m talking 20 cockroaches scurrying away when you turn the kitchen light on in the middle of the night. I can handle most bugs, but roaches are a health hazard. They can carry diseases, they can trigger allergies, they can even travel home in your luggage! When I called to complain, Century 21 did not once apologize or act like I had any reason to be appalled. They simply said they would schedule an exterminator to come out as though it was something that happens every day. The exterminator did his job and sprayed, but I got to spend each and every morning sweeping up dozens of half dead cockroaches on the floor of the kitchen, the largest of which were over two inches in length. We truly enjoyed our beach time, but we could not get out of that house fast enough. I complained one last time upon check out and received the first apology from the lady behind the desk. Sadly it was too little too late. I will not ever rent from Century 21 Action again and would not recommend them to anyone else.

Century 21 was a pleasure to deal with and I appreciated all their email reminders. I love the fact that they include linens for the rentals which very few agencies offer. They have keyless entry which is absolutely amazing. Upon leaving all I had to do was punch in the checkout code on the door and I was good to go and no need to stop by the office.

The house is beautiful. I loved that the beds were made when we got there. Only complaint , We've been coming to the Carolina Moon since 2006 & the beds are so hard. That's my only complaint. Oh, and I loved the welcome bag, very nice

Beach Mountain is a great place. Views are just beautiful. Only downside are all the steps inside. 14 to first landing and 14 to top floor. Other than that we loved the house.

Century 21 seems to have a number of great rentals to chose from. Love the check out process, I didn't have to go back to the company! Love that cleaning AND linens were included in my rental. The only downsides I could see was the linens were not already on the beds and in the bathrooms, there is TOO many emails/texts from them leading up to your stay and during your stay and I had asked for a call when our house was ready for check in, as we were already on the beach that day and they didn't call until 4pm :( which I know is normal check in time but since we were in front of our house on the beach, I knew it was ready earlier. Overall, great vacation experience!

Although we've been to Topsail for vacation a half dozen times, this was our first experience with Century 21, and it was a great experience! First, they have a leg up on everyone else in that they provided linens with the property at no additional charge (all other companies would charge around $150-$200 for a 4-5 BR), and they even provided a bunch of beach towels! Also, when arriving every other year we spend a lot of time making beds, and with bunks, this is time consuming. Arriving and having all the beds already made with clean sheets was really nice, I must say. Also, they offered a mid-week cleaning at no charge as well. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the quality of the cleaning service in general. We've learned from vacationing at Topsail for years that this is a widespread issue in general - that the properties are cleaned for speed, not for quality. There is still sand in many places, the fridge shelves were dirty, the windows were a total mess - and even after the mid-week cleaning, most of the windows were a mess and it appeared that they only cleaned the bathroom sinks and the main 2 sliding door windows. To leave the review on a positive note, Century 21 was great at communication as well, sending out emails and texts throughout the stay for information, and even warnings of storms, and traffic, etc.
