Feedback:

Expensive premiums for even the most basic coverage. Internet payment system has been completely broken for the last 3 months. Can't even seem to fix the most basic required online service.Right now if you call the number they list for 'urgent matters' you get an automated response that says... "Hometown health welcomes your call, our office is currently closed. Between June 17-Sept 30 our hours are 7am to 8pm monday to friday. Beginning october 1st our hours will be Monday through Friday seven days a week..."monday through friday seven days a week...its just like every turn there is something else dysfunctional, unprofessional, and incompetent.I have a hard time trusting a company who can't even take of the basics. The worst part, I have no other choice...

Be careful. If you think Homtown Health will pay for blood test that your Doctor orders think again. I was told by customers service that the Doctor needs to do the blood test in the office by him or herself REALLY As Hometown Health insurance just will give a discount. You pay the rest. BE CAREFUL TAKE Note. Renown and Homtown Health are two of the same company And work together. I'm still trying to get out from under the bus that I was thrown under.

Your automated system sucks. Went the the recordings three times told it was the wrong number never told what was the right one. Transferred here and there. All I wanted to do was pay the damn bill!

There are some good employees at HomeTown Health and some bad ones. I am very sorry that the only hospital they associate with is Renown. I will try my best to never go there again, not because of the bad doctors but because of what I consider bad administration. I wish HH would consider Northern Nevada Medical Center. Their admin staff cares!

Full coverage but they fail to pay for almost every doctor visit hoping to stick me with the bill. They act like its an accident every time but this literally happens every time. Somehow almost all of my medication is not covered under my RX plan too.

The customer service is horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. Managers don't return phone calls and emails go unanswered. After paying outrages premiums for over four years (on time and in full), I expected to at least get prompt and complete responses to my questions. Instead I got the run around and apologies that included "I am sorry you feel that your haven't been communicated with, BUT.." Note to management: My stating what occurred and having records to substantiate those statements is not an expression of how I feel... it is stating the facts. Your response should not include an apology that makes it about my feelings, but rather an apology for your errors and an immediate effort to resolve the issue.

The company is mediocre at best. Such a struggle to get even simple tasks accomplished while paying over $800 a month!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE. I cannot even begin with these people. They didn't update my insurance this year. They didn't send me my new cards despite repeated calls. When I finally went down to their office after weeks of run around they literally printed me the WRONG INSURANCE CARD. Every. Single. Claim. Has to be manually vetted because they deny them all. They have told my providers and my pharmacy I am NOT covered. Once I finally, after nearly half a year, at least got that bit straightened out I now have thousands of dollars in bills from different doctors that I have to figure out because this company isn't paying them. I called last week and was told that I would get a call back, knowing full well I wouldn't, and once again will find myself having to go down to their office because numerous phone calls will go nowhere. Their staff is GLARINGLY incompetent, and unless you are sitting right in front of them they won't even pretend to try to help you, and even then they give the wrong info!!! If I wasn't stuck with them because of my employer I would never, ever use them.
