Feedback:

The females that work there have rude attitudes. They don't care about your situation all they care about is there money. Find a different agency. I would not recommend this one.

They tell you they'll call you back within 2 days after leaving a voicemail but it takes weeks. Always changing workers and never getting things done on time!

I hate the wait. I've been calling for the a whole month and no response. In regards to our medi-cal stopped, I left multiple voicemails and no call back. Definitely not doing their job. Finally, went in and talk to the supervisor and she explained to me with an attitude that I was missing some information. After all those voicemails that I left for her, she did not have 2 minutes to call me back and tell me to bring in the missing information. Such of my waste of my time calling them for a whole month. She even told me that my case won't be review because there were 6-7 families ahead of my case. Okay and that was suppose to be my fault because they couldn't do their job fast enough. Overall, I'm just disappointed that they never called me back like what they said on their voicemail. Best chance is to go in and talk to them.

Horrible! I have called countless times leaving messages each time no response. I have called supervisors, workers, the office and nothing.

They are not people of their word. They told me they would have everything sent "before lunch" since all paperwork was checked off and my case was "rare" in terms of having paperwork. Told me I get expedited shipping and sent me off.They call back not even an hour later saying there was a document missing when she specifically said everything was there. Couldn't get ahold of my case worker, EVER, and the supervisor never answers. Three weeks later, it was denied as not all documents were present but was there ever anyone to follow up to help me with the missing document? Not in sight. Unprofessional in all aspects. If I could give 0.5 stars I would.

Too lengthy of wait times in the office and too lengthy wait times on the phone. It is a practical joke if they say they will call within two business days and they are usually understaffed and are overbooked with other cases. In the office the wait time can last up to four hours. Four HOURS! I have tried to apply for Cal Fresh and for Medi-Cal but the office as stated are too busy with ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who does NOT SPEAK ENGLISH and tend to those cases or take an eight hour lunch break sitting in the office DOING NOTHING. I will be moving out from California and to move to another state since California's HSA systems SUCK.

The workers dont answer their phones. They say they have 2 days to call back when you leave a message. I have called mulitple times and never had anyone call me back. This place is a joke. No one is there to help you. They act like their job is to prove that you dont need the county aid. This isnt the kind of public service we pay taxes for. This is a place where you are put down and ignored because you need help. I will be moving from merced county as soon as possible to avoid this human services agency.

Wasted 45 min of my time standing there. Passed my appt. time. They called out my name to dial ext. 567. Dont know where to do that, never been there before. Waited inline till the lady called me. Told her I did an online application and that they did overhead me and my extension to call is 567. She told me it was a four digit number and that she would have them overhead me again and to wait by the phones for me to call them. Btw, got there 19 min before my app, which was at 3pm. The first announcement of my name being called was five to six min after. She couldnt see me b/c I missed my time.....Like i said never been there before and didnt know where to go. They need a better explanation of new applicants who want to receive Cal fresh assistance. Where to go, what to do when you get there and wait for you name to be paged for you to call them at whatever extension they're at. My extension was actually 5667....
