Feedback:

Will gladly send anyone seeking a realtor to Karen, as she did a fantastic job.

Very unprofessional. Realtors do not reply to phone calls or emails. They were always claiming that someone was on vacation or out to lunch or gone for the day as excuses for a weeks worth of zero communication. They will try to placate you with hollow promises and smiles when you do get ahold of them, but really their just trying to deceive you until you calm down or move away and don't have the time to handle issues. If you are military DO NOT use these people. They know the system and will try to game you for whatever insurance they know you're entitled to. No respect for what the military does for this country, they're just looking to take advantage of its personnel. After the home inspection was completed and signed they continued to call and harass me with bogus claims for months afterwards to try to get money from my renters insurance. Funnily enough my "damages" (which again weren't even mentioned during the home inspection) were almost exactly the max amount my insurance covered....They also do not "manage" the properties at all. By that i mean when i moved in the carpet was filthy, floor was covered with bugs, tiles were broken, wires were cut to outlets, landscaping was neglected, at least 2 dozen light bulbs were out and the walls had lots of unpainted spackling. This was fine because I was aware of the condition of the house, however, they tried to hold me responsible for every little thing AFTER i was already gone and the home inspection was completed. Also you can bet they made me pay $350 to have the carpets cleaned even though they weren't clean when I moved in. I was incredibly disappointed with my interactions with remax and i felt like i was being deceived or manipulated the entire time. I would like to think I am a honest person and was very open and upfront with these people. In my case they took advantage of these values and my situation as active duty army for their own benefit.

Terrible.update/11-05-2017: In a sense there was an unresolved issue; I completely gave up working on a solution. From the start, I didn't get word of the claimed "dog slobber on the walls" until I moved to a different country and the photo evidence was inconclusive and/or lacking evidence entirely.I'll bite the bullet and pay the bogus cleaning costs (399 for cleaning an empty house after I paid for a professional carpet cleaning) just so I can be done with it. Obviously it's left a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm done with trying to resolve the issue over the rental property/house where I paid rent.Remax, I rented through your company. I called and was directed to "a property manager" -- the term used by remax at reception -- often being told, "Let me transfer you to property management".... you expect people to believe that a realtor company does not do property management while also claiming to have experience renting to military members? We're not exactly out buying houses at every duty station. Furthermore, the page I left my review on is the page I used to GPS your location for directions and the page I used to locate a number to talk to property management when I had a problem at the property/house I was renting. I do not have the wrong company, I assure anyone reading this.

If you are a Soldier, don't move out here, they will try to rob you.During my time renting a home south of FLW.Within the first week of me moving in, the water pump went out (3 houses on 1 water pump). 1 entire week / 7 days without water before they fixed it.8 months later neighbors change out and a new one moves in. The new neighbor is that grumpy old man that hates everything. He goes to my O-5 commander and tells him my dogs attacked him and he just merely got away. This O-5 calls me(E-4) into his office and begins telling me that some crazy guy just came in here and said he almost died because your dogs almost killed him. I got a counseling, a stern talking too and a warning. I call remax and ask them to tell the neighbor to call the cops if he has any issues with me in the future. 1 week later to the exact minute he was at my job again trying to see the 0-6 this time, luckily the chief caught him first. Same stuff. My dog was apparently circling his house for 3 hours and preventing him from leaving(lie). Remax again did nothing. He went to my work a third time. I called the cops and asked the cop to get him to stop harassing me, it stopped, temporarily, I began to receive prank calls the next and last 3 months of staying here daily. REMAX's main landlord did nothing and even got angry at me because I went to the cops. The creepy neighbor also had a creepy kid that would sit outside the house with a bb gun and point it towards my house. We thought, only 3 more months. Water pump went out again 1 month before we began moving. 1 week again. When moving, we got everything out of the house and spent the night there cleaning, next day carpet cleaners came and the day after that, the walk through. They told me the oven, window sills and the faucets needed to be cleaned, we cleaned it, except the oven (wouldn't come off). 5 days later I fly to Germany. 25 days after my final inspection, I get my refund of $450 out of a 1000. They sent me a price estimate from cleaning clinic for 390 and it is labeled as "detailed cleaning" 180 in little damages, and light bulbs, w.e. I called and asked about the 390 dollar detailed cleaning and it was apparently dog drool on the walls... Dog drool... Throughout the entire house, there is dog drool.....I ask for pics, not a single picture shows dog drool anywhere on the wall, and that wasn't addressed when I did my walkthrough so how can you wait til I am in another country to charge me. And have yet to receive a receipt that shows that this was done and paid. The cleaning service is family with realitors. I have been calling for past 2 weeks, running me around the bush, absolutely terrible. If you are a Soldier, they will try to take advantage of you, I highly recommend you do not live out the south gate. Bunch of thieves and crooks. Go to investment reality, or someone else. Plus the internet is garbage out the south gate.UPDATE: I have been harassed by the same neighbor even after leaving the country. Remax said don't worry him. He has gone through military channels to find me in Germany and is continuing to harass me. Thank you Remax for not stopping him.UPDATE 2Remax,Yes you do. Property management is on your website. You have 2 people that are property managers. What is your definition of property management? I paid my rent to you, my inspection was through you, when you call your office one of the options is property management. I did all my paperwork through you. REMAX, you do property management. You even pay the guy that cuts the grass... Still being harassed by neighbor 01/30/18.

Pay attention to the [negative] reviews! After 30+ years of military service, I have never; absolutely never had such an unpleasant experience. I called and left messages four times this week for the managing broker, with no responses. The place should be run out of town and never be allowed to operate anywhere near a military base. They do not care about your property! They do not keep you informed about what they are doing to try and sell your property! They will not return your phone calls! And when you ask them to assist with your property, they get the most shoddy repairmen in the state, pay them half what they are worth, and charge you double. If you use this business, you will be sorry. Go elsewhere while you can. There are plenty of good realtors in the area.

Feedback:

Just recently moved out of local area. I was renting a place south of Ft. Leonard Wood, which was a nice place. Problem was, when I needed maintenance services it took days for Remax to get someone out to help. One instance, in the middle of winter, we needed emergency plumbing service. The whole episode took over a week to get resolved, and two different plumbers had to come out. Also had trouble getting messages from their front desk across the hall to billing or rentals. For instance, I was billed a late fee, but told by three different people in rentals that I didn't need to worry about it. It was three months before word got across the hall to billing and the repeat emails finally ended. Finally, I was also told by the front desk and rentals, that upon move out I did not have to have the chimney swept. Well, the inspector sent a chimney sweeper and I got the bill- after I moved to another state. Mostly dissatisfied, though Remax is about the only place that offers rentals and properties south of the fort. So you'll have to use them if that's the area you're looking at. When I was looking to buy, Karen was great help to me. Just my two cents...
