Take your money elsewhere. There are cleaner, much nicer rentals on the island for the same price.Our rental was filthy upon arrival. While they sent someone right away, we couldn't tell what they had cleaned after they left and nobody called to follow up. There were roaches in the unit, showers had mildew and soap scum in them, the floors had not been properly swept or mopped before we arrived (or possibly for several weeks as our feet black just from walking around when we arrived), the cookware was in terrible condition, dirty dishes in the cupboard, the fridge was dirty inside....I could go on and on.We stay on Isle of Palms for a week once a year and have never had a rental in this poor of condition.

Ac stop working.. no 1 has called me back. Damn it's hot. Maybe a refund for the night will help.or put us in a hotel with ac and allow us to check out at noon.

Be cautious when renting through Wyndham Vacation Rentals. The staff at the Isle of Palms location did not stick by their word. I would not rent through their company in the future.

The people at the Wyndham Isle of Palms office need to get their act together. The did some things correctly and others incorrectly. The problem seems to be that their staff is not adequately trained. Examples: 1. We (four people) rented a beach condo that included four pool passes and one sports card. When we picked up our packet on Saturday night from the after-hours lock box there were only two condo keys and no pool passes and no sports card. 2. Sunday morning when the Wyndham office opened I asked about the sports card and pool passes. The customer service rep told me to come to the office to pick them up. 3. I arrived at the office and the clerks behind the counter didn't know anything about pool passes and sports cards. They asked their manager and said, "You don't need pool passes this week. And, you need to pick up the sports card at the Wild Dunes Resort fitness center." When you are on vacation, the last thing a person wants to do on vacation is spend time running around tracking down stuff.

Awesome views and awesome people! Great clean room. The only issue I have are the thin walls which allows you to hear others doing their thing next door.

We rented a condo on isles of Palm and was very pleased. We are going back this spring. 2016, May. Last stay was 2015, October. Our Cabin was very clean. Not sure the Cabin number. But would recommend this cabin ,very impressed with how clean and neat it was. Some of them wasn't as neat and clean.

Rental office is worthless Corporate only concern is the sale once they make it and receive their payment you can forget anything type of customer service beyond that point. The facilities are two possibly three stars. Our unit is clean but there was no soap or clean towels and housekeeping has been a no show for 3 days. Other issues curtain that hangs over slider is broken, toilet doesn't flush, light socket covers missing, absolutely no water pressure for showers and we have 18-36" of water surrounding our building from a tropical storm. Wyndam's answer is we'll help out if there's a mandatory evacuation of the island!!! My advice is to find private owners on the Isle of Palms that do their own rentals. Vacations are suppose to be memorable not nightmares. Wyndam will leave you feeling violated!!!!!!

We stayed in Abalone Alley 7 for 3 nights. The house & beach were gorgeous and in good condition; however - the pool was in awful condition upon arrival (which was the major reason we chose this house over more inexpensive options). We tested the PH levels and they were all unacceptable - well below the bottom end of the spectrum - and there was sand and a major ant problem (thousands of ants invaded our pizzas after sitting outside for <5 mins) around the pool area. Wyndham sent someone out to address this the next day - the pool guy "shocked" the pool and fixed the pool filter (why this wasn't checked before our arrival I don't know) - but we lost a couple days of pool usage. Based on the high-end rental cost, I thought Wyndham would provide some monetary refund (I was thinking that maybe 5-10% might have been reasonable?) to allow for the inconveniences, but the property manager (Fran) was on jury duty and didn't respond for a week. Despite the front desk telling me that they were sorry - it was their fault - and Fran is generally really good about making things right under these circumstances - she was unwilling to work with us at all. All in all - our group had a great trip - but the customer service (when you book a house for $5k for 3 nights) left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I'm doubtful we'll be using Wyndham on our next trip to the area. :(
